Ms. Dennis began her work in the insurance industry in 1980. She has been a professional insurance agent since 1990, marketing a myriad of products from Medicare Risk, Long Term Care, Group and Individual Health, Final Expenses, Voluntary Benefits and Life. In January 1999, she became an independent agent and started her own agency, The Dennis Group, in January 2003.
Ms. Dennis has provided services for a diverse client group, including but not limited to:
- The State Teachers Retirement System
- The State Employees Retirement System
- Public Employees Retirement System
- Meijer
- Bank One
- Federated Stores, Inc.
- Boeing
- Huntington National Bank
Ms. Dennis has won several awards for her achievements. The most notable is the Sales Pinnacle Award for Employer Group Sales, received in 1998 for being the number two Sales Representative in a Fortune 500 company.
Ms. Dennis was also elected and served for two years as Chairwoman for the Gahanna Area Chamber of Commerce.
Ms. Dennis considers herself an involved citizen, constantly striving towards bettering her community. Through efforts with community action groups such as

Ms. Dennis is also currently the Treasurer for Advent Church of Christ.
